A trip to the Fort Worth Zoo

Every year, my family vacations in a new location! My buddy and I try to experience distinctive landscapes, particular culture plus an educational experience, then this past holiday season, my friend and I headed to Fort Worth, TX.

While my friend and I enjoyed the Fort Worth Stockyards, several museums plus Trinity Trails, the highlight was the Fort Worth Zoo, then consistently ranked among the top zoos in the nation, it is apartment to over 7,000 creatures plus has recently expanded their elephant exhibit, and as one of the oldest zoos in TX, the Fort Worth Zoo has steadily evolved into a world-class facility, combining entertainment, education plus conservation, then since its start in 1909 with just a handful of creatures, the zoo now covers sixty-four acres plus represents more than five hundred species of creatures, then one of my number one exhibits was The TX Wild! From the swamps of the Gulf Coast to the arid landscapes of West TX, it showcased the diverse ecosystems within the state plus offered a look at native wildlife within settings that mimic their natural environments.

The African Savanna is another certainly fascinating exhibit. The sprawling landscape is just beautiful plus provides a apartment to elephants, giraffes plus zebras. The immersive experience includes the Asian Falls, Raptor Canyon plus Australian Outback exhibits. Each one is particular plus shares habitats of creatures from different parts of the world… For my kids, the best part of our visit to the zoo was the interactive experiences. My buddy and I were able to attend live demonstrations plus feeding sessions, where the kids got to be hands-on. The TX Nature Traders Programs encourages the kids to collect natural items plus trade them for points that they can cash in for fun prizes.
