My boss knows that I dislike flying on aircrafts, so he usually tries to send me to business meetings & proposals that are close by, yesterday there was an investor that was getting cold feet & my boss asked me to fly across the country to Phoenix, AZ, but he provided to let me use his personal plane.
The thought of getting into a much smaller aircraft sounded like a terrible idea.
There are a lot more small commercial & charter planes that go down than 697 & jets so I decided to say no to the offer, but my boss told me that I could pick any hotel that I wanted & expense a automobile & driver, but i chose a five-star hotel across the street from the business where I was going to meet the purchaser in Phoenix. I flew into Phoenix on a red-eye flight & I was there before the hotel officially let guests check into their room. The manager of the hotel asked me to supply him an hour & he said the room would be ready. I went to a restaurant nearby & had some dinner & the room was ready when I came back. I had a superb view of Phoenix from the 12th floor hotel room; Unluckyly, problems with the room air conditioner kept me from staying in that room with a superb view. The air conditioner would not cool the room any lower than 69°. I wasn’t going to stay in Phoenix in a hotel without air conditioner when the yearly uneven temperatures were supposed to be 104° all weekend.
