My friends and I live about an hour away from Phoenix, but we go to the city on the weekends to spend time at the clubs and bars.
There aren’t that many clubs and bars in the small Arizona city where I live, but Phoenix is always hopping on a Friday or Saturday night. Last Friday night after I was done working at the HVAC repair center, my friends and I went to a bar in Phoenix that has 2 for 1 drink specials until 11:00 p.m. the bar doesn’t really start hopping until midnight, but I like to get there early to take advantage of the 2 for 1 drink specials. I was really tired last Friday night after working all day at the HVAC repair center. I didn’t want to go out with my friends, but they insisted I would have fun. I was sitting at a table with a beer while my friends were playing pool and a girl came over to say hello to me. She said that I looked like one of the guys that she knew from high school, but I was not the person she thought I was. It was still a fun way to meet. The two of us sat at the table and talked for an hour. I bought her a beer. We played billiards on the table next to my friends. The girl lives right in downtown Phoenix, but she works at a place that is only a mile away from the HVAC repair center where I work.
