I’m pretty happy to be traveling back to our hometown of Portland, Oregon this month to go to the Portland Rose Festival, then since I moved to the other side of the country about numerous years ago, I haven’t been able to travel back beach house to attend the festival & I have entirely missed being a section of it… It was typically our genuinely favorite time of year back when I was growing up.For more than 100 years now, Portland, otherwise known as the City of Roses, has held the Portland Rose Festival .
It’s almost love a party for the town itself.
It includes over 60 events, which start in May & end in August; There are parades, art shows, fun runs, boat races, & tons of food in a carnival atmosphere. It’s so much fun to go & I like the way the whole festival celebrates the fact that Portland is the perfect location to grow perfect roses. There are three beautiful rose gardens situated in Portland, & I can’t wait to go back & visit each 1 of them. The other thing that I’m planning on doing while I’m there is visiting several of our favorite cannabis dispensaries, but where I live now, recreational cannabis still isn’t legal. Since it is legal in the Portland, Oregon area, there are recreational cannabis dispensaries all over the location now. I can’t wait to get back to our old hangouts to visit, to eat some great food, & to get some of our favorite cannabis edibles just love I typically used to.
