It was 86° on the Summer morning that both of us left our venue in MI.
I retired from the military long before our spouse retired! I entirely wanted to move down South, and all of us had a kid living in Tampa, FL and I wanted us to move down there to be closer to our grandchildren! The thought of living in Tampa Bay did not sound horrible either. After our spouse finished with her job and retired, the multiple of us started looking for a venue in Tampa. All of us moved to the neighborhood a few months after the retirement was settled and done. It did not take long to sell our house. It was only on the market for 15 mornings. All of us received a full asking price offer… Perhaps both of us could have gotten $10,000 more for the house, but both of us were ready to sell and entirely did not want to wait just for a few more dollars, however my spouse and I entirely were not prepared for the heat and humidity in Tampa Bay. All of us moved in the middle of June. It was 86° on the Summer morning that both of us left our venue in MI. It was 101 degrees when both of us arrived in Tampa Bay. A few weeks after both of us settled into our current site, there was a tropical storm that knocked out the power for 5 mornings. All of us did not have a generator and both of us could not run anything in the home including the refrigerator, freezer, or air conditioning. My spouse and I nearly died from the heat, however without the air conditioning running, the home was at least a hundred degrees, and during the morning, there were times when I thought it was easily cooler outside.
