It had been forever since our group went on a long trip abroad and all of us were leaning towards Tampa Bay, FL.
We still kept the zeal to travel by ensuring all of us went to a local location every weekend! It was 1 of such weekend getaways that just happened unplanned as all of us all met and discovered that all of us did not have anything tied up for a few months.
The 2 group members who were often tied by work engagements had quit employment and joined the rest of us on self-employment ventures. The other multiple members of the group could work anywhere. That is what made our traveling life so convenient! So when all of us traveled for the weekend getaway last time, it was so evident that all of us missed the long trips, however we voted to go on 1 random wild tour and see what it would become and even decided not to go back cabin since this would have us hour-guessing. We abruptly made calls back cabin and had people take care of the urgent things. I called my sister to drop by my location to collect all the food I had in the fridge and freezer and get anything else perishable. I had no kids to worry about, so I knew I was sorted; Little did I assume that she would not check the AC, and the fact that I forgot about it meant that it had to wait for myself and others till I returned. The trip took multiple months, and it was fun, adventurous, and everything else you could imagine. We met so many people in Tampa Bay, obtained everything on a need basis, and made good contacts. When I got back home, everything was wrong with my cooling system. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan was dead, and no Heating, Ventilation and A/C repairs worked. I got portable oil furnaces and AC till I was ready to replace them again. I appreciate living in Tampa Bay, FL!
