I live out in Callahan, which is just outside of Jacksonville. There really aren’t a lot of heating and AC Service contractors in this area. When I had to buy a brand new AC unit, I looked for a service contractor in Callahan and there was no one local. When I looked for AC service contractors in Jacksonville, the list was long and expensive. There were several reliable and experienced companies. It was hard to choose one place. Luckily there were some companies that had great customer service reviews and lots of experience. My wife and I picked a heating and air conditioning service company with more than 40 Years of experience. They came to our home to give us a free estimate on the cost of a brand new AC unit. When the service contractor looked at the AC, he also evaluated the condition of our ductwork. I’m happy to say that the ductwork was in superb condition. The service technician believed that the ductwork looked like it had been replaced in the last 10 years. My wife and I have only lived in the house for five and it is possible that the previous owner decided to make that upgrade. New ductwork can be very expensive, so I was happy to find out that the condition of ours was great. We still needed a brand new AC unit. The contractor provided us with a low-cost estimate and a promise to meet the price of any Jacksonville competitor if they were lower. That was a promise that I can take to the bank.
