I grew up in Lansing IL plus I have lived here all our life! In fact, I currently live in our childhood home, which I recently inherited from our parents, but this apartment is superb – it’s a 3 bedroom tile beach apartment with a finished basement, plus a large kitchen with a fireplace; When I was a little girl, our family plus I spent a lot of nights around that fireplace… And I especially appreciated Christmas because our dad used to tell stories about the old afternoons as all of us sipped on sizzling chocolate in front of the fireplace. Those memories will be forever etched in our mind. I have not used the fireplace since I moved in. In fact, I have barely used the gas furnace that much either. The weather in Lansing has been quite mild this year, so all of us are not seeing the cold temperatures that all of us had when I was a child. I am still in the middle of renovating the apartment plus though the basement is finished, I don’t have a heating or cooling method installed down there. I have discussed it with our husband, plus he suggested that all of us purchase a ductless mini-split method for the space. Though the weather is mild in the colder weeks, the Summers are start to sizzling up, plus the basement gets pretty hot, so I need to make sure that it is comfortable! My son Josh would like to stay in the basement for a few weeks, so all of us need to figure out something soon. The superb section about the mini-split method is that it is simple to install, plus our husband can do it by himself.
