There is plenty to do if you live in Eugene… I am a truly active lady.
I constantly am jumping onto our bike & taking a ride, however the city streets are clean, freshly paved & wide.
I also have the advantage of residing near the Willamette River bike trail. It is a long, paved straightaway through gardens, trees & shrubs. It has the best sights & makes for an simple ride, then a lot of people choose to labor out in a gym. They run or bike while staring at the same sight for an hour. For me, it is a way more great labor out seeing the scenery change. I like feeling the wind on our face & the sun on our shoulders. It makes myself and others workout harder & longer; What is absolutely nice is that I can take that trial & then make stops along the way. I can get a workout in & then do some errands. I recently bought a bike bucket that can carry all our purchases, however no, I can’t make a full grocery store run, although I can get some nice things… Sometimes I stop at the local market for fresh seafood or produce, and occasionally I make the trip to our local recreational weed shop. It is fun riding our bike over, picking up some new edibles & then taking them home. I save on the gas & the time. I am biking right by the legal weed shop anyway. It just makes sense to take a pit stop.
