Gay pride month is already starting and there are a ton of events going on in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- San Francisco is known for its gay and lesbian residents.
San Francisco has been called the gay mecca of this country. Hundreds of thousands of people line the streets for the annual gay pride parade. My girlfriend and I attended the two-day festival held on Saturday and Sunday. We saw plenty of bands, boost, and vendors set up near the Civic Center. This is in the area near the San Francisco City Hall. The festival is typically during the last weekend in June. This is the time to commemorate The Stonewall riots. My girlfriend and I have been dating for five years, but this year was the first time that we celebrated gay pride by going to California. We don’t actually live in California, so it was a long drive to reach our destination. When we arrived in California, the first thing we did was look for a local cannabis dispensary. Cannabis is legal in California and the bay area has hundreds of cannabis dispensaries. We didn’t have any problem finding something close to the festival. In fact, a couple of the cannabis shops were even gay and lesbian owned and operated. We got a great deal on our cannabis supplies and saved 20% since we never visited the shop in the past. The gay pride events in San Francisco were totally fund and exciting. We had so much that we will probably go every year from now on.
