Similar to most cities, Denver has a pretty good amount of sections, each with its own unique qualities. Denver is renowned for its general progressiveness, with legal marijuana and truly the country’s most renowned PrideFest. Denver easily is a city that welcomes people from all walks of life, and somewhere in Denver, there is a neighborhood that really suits you. If you like a walkable town, downtown Denver is a great place to be… The Capitol Hill neighborhood is totally full of pedestrians. The neighborhood was founded for people who had great wealth over a hundred years ago. These days, you can find people filling up the unique little shops, sipping lattes at the pop shops, and the like… Five Points, another long standing town, boasts some properties and stores that are over a century of age. The Rossonian Hotel is a must-see in this enjoyable section of Denver! Lower Downtown, known by most folks in the section as LoDo, is the industrial chic part of town. If you love the thought of living in a place created from an aged factory, go home-hunting in LoDo. You might be under the impression that RiNo means Republican in name only, however in Denver, where there are no Republicans to speak of, RiNo is the River North town. In our town, RiNo would be referred to as the Arts Area. If you are fascinated in all things artsy, head over to RiNo for the weekend. You will easily be able to find artists and artisans designing furniture, creating paintings, building sculptures, and possibly even spray painting a mural on the side of a building. It’s also where there are a good amount of medical centers. It seems like an unusual combination, however RiNo certainly makes it work.
